MARVELLOUS mohicans, beautiful beehives and moody mullets were the order of the day as a group of Bexleyheath children celebrated Mad March Hair day.
The youngsters at Barrington Primary School in Barrington Road, Bexleyheath, were encouraged to be as hair raising as possible and pay £1 for the privilege.
The school was raising cash towards new playground equipment, so children and school staff were asked to be as wierd and wonderful as they could.
Headteacher Jacquie Keelan said: “It is amazing to see the lengths they go to, to astound and delight their friends with fantastic hairstyles.
“Heaven knows what time they must had have to get up to get ready for school.”
