YOUNGSTERS at a Bexley primary school have been discovering science can be fun.
A host of activities was laid on at Peareswood Primary School in Peareswood Road, Slade Green, to challenge and fascinate the children.
Activities ranged from a mini planetarium, a science wizard, robot making, a forensics team and a bio-medic.
Children were able to explore the universe, make “rockets” from fizzy drinks and vitamin C tablets, do their own forensic investigations, make robots and waste-free lunch boxes and learn about viruses and bacteria.
The school’s science and ICT co-ordinator Debbie Donnelly said: “It was fantastic.
“We have had great responses back from the children and it has changed their view of science.”
