A COOKIE-MUNCHING former Big Brother housemate has celebrated her wedding with two drag queens.

Kathreya Kasisopa, originally from Thailand but now living in Welling, was a firm favourite on the TV show last year, staying until the final week.

On November 21, she married her boyfriend of four years William Smith at Bexley Register Office, The Green, Sidcup.

It was followed by a reception at Sa La Thai Restaurant, Broadway, Bexleyheath.

The 32-year-old said: “I’m a bit unusual so we had a Thai drag queen and an English drag queen at the reception.

“The wedding itself was just quite small and traditional.”

Guests at the wedding included Mohamed Mohamed and Rex Newmark from last year's Big Brother.

Last year's winner Rachel Rice was due to attend, but was ill.

Ms Kasisopa said: “We very much still keep in touch. People who live together 24-7 for three months get very close - we know each other so well.

“I really love them - I’m not sure how they feel about me though.”

Since leaving the show she has used her profile to raise money for charities including the Samaritans, Welling Round Table, and Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice.

She said: “I get recognised everywhere because my look is quite distinctive.

“They all shout at me ‘cookie, cookie’.”

Ms Kasisopa is now rehearsing for her role as a “fairy godmother gone wrong” in “adult pantomime” Sinderfella which opens next month in Leicester Square.

She said: “I absolutely enjoy the panto - I didn’t realise that doing it could get me this high.

“The only problem is I’ve never had a singing lesson but I have to sing. Oh my god, I’ve been making a total fool of myself.

“People just put their finger in their ears - but I am getting better.”
