A schoolgirl was accosted and followed by a stranger in Erith.
A warning has been sent to parents after the pupil at Trinity School in Belvedere was approached in West Street yesterday morning (November 22).
The school said the girl was shaken but unharmed, and that the police are dealing with the matter.
In a message to parents, the school said: "Please remind your children not to engage with strangers on their way to or from school, and to go into a shop or seek help if they are approached."
School staff patrolled the area of the incident yesterday afternoon.
It is not known whether this is being linked to a series of assaults on women and girls in south-east London.
The Met has been contacted for further comment.
