Londoners can expect frost this week as temperatures take a dip.
Following weeks of unseasonably warm weather, it might be time to get out the scarves and gloves out as temperatures get as low as 5C.
Monday’s cold, frosty start will be followed by a largely sunny day but will remain “rather cold” with a maximum temperature of 11C, dropping to 5C as night falls.
Tuesday is expected to be a milder day than Monday, with a mixture of sunny and cloudy spells. Most areas are expected to remain dry, with the maximum temperature creeping up slightly to 13C.
Fog is expected from Wednesday to Friday, and lows of 6C, but London will probably escape rain until Saturday, when the temperatures are expected to take another dip.
