A man who allegedly tried to steal hundreds of pounds worth of shopping before threatening staff with a knife is wanted by police.
Bexley police have released footage of the man who allegedly attempted to steal more than £500 worth of goods from Sainsbury's in Stadium Way, Crayford, on Monday, August 28.
A spokesman for Bexley MPS said: "He ran off when challenged by staff but when caught stated he had a knife and wasn't afraid to use it."
The footage shows a man with a full trolley walking outside the store before being approached by two staff members.
The man then runs towards the car park.
The incident happened in the late afternoon.
Witnesses are asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
