A bungling burglar that set off an alarm in a Dartford store has been jailed.
Ashley Hornby, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary and theft after on September 16.
Police were alerted to an alarm triggered at a shop in Princes Road, Dartford, and found Hornby nearby.
He was arrested and police found high-value items which had been reported stolen hidden in a nearby alleyway.
Hornby, 37, appeared before magistrates on September 16 and was jailed for 180 days and ordered to pay compensation of £200.
