Exhausted parents dealing with children throwing temper tantrums will be given a helping hand by the staff at a Bexleyheath shopping centre.
Broadway Shopping Centre is launching a Kids Club scheme in time for the school holidays to help people keep tired children entertained.
The scheme will give parents, grandparents and guardians free access to pop-up play areas in the centre, workshops and events as well as treasure trails and exclusive discounts.
Security guards at the centre are also being trained in ‘tantrum taming’ to help stressed parents while shopping.
Natalie Ajibade, from the Broadway Shopping Centre, said: “Most of us have all experienced our own kids having a meltdown or felt the pain of other parents struggle to keep their toddler happy while shopping.
“Our Kids Club will offer free events for children throughout the year, special offers for parents who sign up, and a child safe scheme giving parents piece of mind when out shopping.
“Based on our research, we believe this will help keep children amused and incentivise good behaviour meaning happy families all round.”
