Travellers left behind "significant" fly-tipping when they were moved on from disused land in Bexleyheath.
Bexley Council confirmed that the group were moved from former Civic Office site in The Broadway on Wednesday, June 14.
The land is owned by Sports Direct, which has now secured the area.
A spokesman for Bexley Council said: "Following enforcement action by Bexley police, the travellers were moved from the former Civic Offices site last Wednesday, 14 June.
"We have liaised with the current site owners Sports Direct, who have now secured the site. Sports Direct have also advised us that they are taking steps to remove significant flytipped materials from the site.
"We understand that the travellers have now moved to a site in the Royal Borough of Greenwich."
