A thieving spree by two teenagers across south-east London has resulted in the pair being jailed for a combined total of 12 years.
Charlie Arbia and Conor Sabarudin, both 18 years old, targeted houses and cars in Welling, Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Thamesmead and Plumstead.
The pair were caught after a joint investigation by Bexley Crime Squad and the Flying Squad and were convicted on Friday (June 9) at Woolwich Crown Court.
The thieving duo pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary, two of attempted burglary, two counts of stealing motor vehicles, three counts of theft, and one count of attempted cash in transit robbery.
Sabarudin, of Sycamore Avenue in Sidcup, also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
For these offences, they were both sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.
Additional offences which they were sentenced for in the same hearing meant that in total, Arbia, of Hartley Road in Welling, was sentenced to six year and eight months in prison, while Sabarudin was sentenced to five years and four months.
PC Oakes, from Bexley Crime Squad, said: “These males gave no consideration to the effect that their crimes would have on their victims.
“I hope that the sentences handed down act as a message to others involved in seriously criminality, that we will do all we can to get justice for victims of crime.”
