An Erith tattoo shop has made a man into a walking advert as he bids to win a competition.

Andy Palmer, from Sittingbourne, got the tattoo on his shoulder from GB Tattoos in Erith as part of the The Hoth Tattoo Tournament.

Andy, who works as Web Market Kent, said his tattooist Luke Fitzgerald did an amazing job.

He said: “I got a tattoo for a competition at GB tattoos. I got it done as part of a competition run by Hoth.”

Search Engine Optimisation firm Hoth ran the competition, which had 32 entries, offering to pay for the costs of tattoos in exchange for the chance to win $3,000 worth of credit to use the Hoth’s services.

Andy, who only had one tattoo before this, said he did not really know how this would end up.

He said: “I went to GB Tattoos in Erith to get it done. I knew it was going to hurt, it was painful but once the outline was done I was fine.

“I was nervous on my way there.

“I got it done three weeks ago and before this all I had was a Tottenham lettering.”

Andy got The Hoth’s logo tattooed on his shoulder, and says he does not regret getting it done.

He said: “I got it three weeks ago but I know it is for life and it is something to tell the grandkids!

“You can see what an amazing job Luke did on my Youtube video.”
