"Parents’ speak highly of the school and say that their children thrive because of the strong teaching and care they receive.

"Disadvantaged pupils, including the most able, make rapid progress and achieve well because of highly skilled teaching which meets their needs."

Headteacher Cassandra Malone has spoken of her delight at the school’s progress in a short space of time.

She said: "I am so proud of everyone that has been part of this incredible journey.

"I have an exceptional team that focus purely on the outcomes of children and ensuring that all our children leave us ready for their secondary education.

"We are fortunate enough to be part of the Primary First Trust that supports the school and leaders, enabling the team’s pursuit of excellence."

Ofsted inspectors concluded in their report that Mrs Malone "provides inspirational leadership", while "she nurtures, develops and challenges staff to constantly reflect on, and improve, their skills."
