Eight men have been charged with drug offences after a number of addresses were raided in Thamesmead yesterday (May 25).

Around 1kg of class A drugs, two large carrier bags of cannabis, over £30,000 and a variety of weapons have been recovered so far.

The eight men, two students and six who are unemployed, charged with drug offences have been remanded in custody, and will all appear at Bexley Magistrates’ Court today (May 26).

  • Mitchall Gwynne, 22, of Hazel Drive, Slade Green, has been charged with one count of offering to supply class A drugs.
  • Reginald Wilkinson, 58, of Hazel Drive, Slade Green, has been charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
  • Richie Stewart, 25, of Northwood Place, Erith, has been charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs.
  • Emmanuel Babatola, 19, of Cole Close, Thamesmead, has been charged with one count of supplying class A drugs.
  • Kyle Munday, 20, of Hinksey Path, Thamesmead, has been charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs.
  • Adeshina Abdulsalam, 26, of Maran Way, Erith, has been charged with six counts of supplying class A drugs and one charge of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
  • Mohammed Osman, 21, of Belvue Road, Northolt, has been charged with two counts of supplying class B drugs.
  • Abdur-Rasheed Awobodu, 18, of Orchard Hill, Greenwich, has been charged with one count of supplying class A drugs.

Two women arrested during the same operation have been bailed until a date in late July.

  • A 20-year-old woman was arrested on charges of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and affray.
