An adorable two-year-old from Greenhithe has been reunited with her beloved toy rabbit known as Bunny after it went missing in Bexleyheath.

Little Ava-Beau has had her teddy since birth and it hadn't left her side once.

Bunny was lost on Monday afternoon (March 14) outside Natwest Bank in Townley Rd.

Hopefully Bunny won't be hopping off anytime soon now he's been found

In spite of a two hour search, Bunny couldn’t be found.

Speaking at the time of Bunny's disappearance, the full time mum-of-two, Natacha Fisher, 23, of Hardwick Crescent, said: “She is absolutely heartbroken that it’s gone.

“We have retraced our steps, asked in every shop possible and have had no joy whatsoever.

“We just want Bunny to make a safe return to a heartbroken little girl who is having sleepless nights without it.

“To some it's just a tatty old bunny but to her it's her absolute world and I would do anything to get it back.

“She has had Bunny since birth, she has not been a day without it.”

An eyewitness believes he saw Bunny being carried away by a woman five minutes after the discovery was made - but noone else was able to verify this.

After a public appeal, News Shopper can confirm that the tatty jellycat cream bunny was found in Erith - much to the delight of a certain two-year-old.

Bunny has been safely reunited with one very happy owner

Miss Fisher confirmed that the rabbit was safely returned to Ava-Beau three days after it went missing.

She said: "She's so happy she has her bunny back!

"We can't thank everyone enough."

Although he's washed weekly in 90 degree washes, Ms Fisher has stated that Bunny still comes out smelling and looking the way he went in the washing machine.

His tag is also very dirty and has a bobble feel to it where little Ava-Beau constantly hugs it for comfort.

Hopefully this Bunny won't be hopping off anytime soon.
