An Erith EastEnders actress' boyfriend will be flown back to the UK later today (February 11) to face trial in connection with three murders - according to reports.

Arthur Simpson-Kent was arrested in Ghana on January 9, following the brutal killing of his girlfriend Sian Blake, 43, and their two young children - who all died from head and neck injuries.

The bodies of the actress, who played Frankie Pierre in the soap in the 90s, eight-year-old Zachary and four-year-old Amon were found buried in the back garden of the family's home in Pembroke Road on January 5.

Simpson-Kent, a 48-year-old hairdresser, waived his extradition rights and agreed to be brought back to the UK, in a court hearing in the country's capital, Accra, on January 26.

Miss Blake and her sons were reported missing on December 16 - three weeks before their bodies were found.

Mr Simpson-Kent was pictured arriving in Ghana three days later, following a visit from Met Police officers.

He was later arrested in remote cove on a Ghanain beach, where he had reportedly been surviving off coconuts and sleeping in a makeshift bed.
