Broadway shopping centre director Peter Sedge is hoping to smash the sales record set on Black Friday last year, when footfall was up by 4,500 compared to the same day the previous year.

Free parking will be available to all shoppers from 5.30pm until 8pm.

Mr Sedge said: “We are delighted to welcome both Pandora and the Fragrance Shop to the centre.

“They are both great gift brands, and they’ve arrived just in time for the Christmas shopping season proper to get underway. We’re expecting a significant boost to our usual footfall on Black Friday.”
