Snow falls in Dartford, Gravesend, Biggin Hill and Orpington

Flurries began to fall earlier today - and people took to social media to alert others to the wintry weather.

Snow fell in Dartford and Gravesend.

The white stuff comes as the Met Office issued a severe weather warning for wind - with gusts expected to hit 70 mph later today.

Temperatures look set to plummet to 6 degerees celsius today this afternoon and as low as -2 overnight.
