Commuters and Christmas travellers should be warned that London Bridge station will be completely closed to Southeastern customers over a 10-day period.

Those planning to travel to London between Christmas and New Year will also be blighted by station closures at Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Cannon Street.

The four major stations are all shut between 6pm on Christmas Eve and 4am on Monday, January 4.

MP for Thamesmead and Erith Teresa Pearce said: "Many of my constituents will continue to commute during this period, and others may wish to use the holiday season to explore London or visit friends and families.
