Travellers have been spotted in Bostall Heath after a dog walker stumbled across the site.
A yellow Transit van was seen parked alongside a caravan photographed on October 4, at the Clam Field recreation ground.
Daniel Taylor, 48, from Lodge Hill, Welling said: "They made so much mess last time they were here.
"A few local people are scared to walk their dogs up the heath whilst they are around as they have dogs chained up outside normally."

A spokesman for Greenwich Council said: “We are aware that a small number of traveller vehicles have arrived and parked on Bostall Heath.
“We made contact with them early on Saturday morning and have issued them with a formal notice to leave.
“We are working with the police in communication with the travellers to ensure their departure, taking account of any welfare issues.”
