Drivers had to cope with long delays after two cars collided and hit the central reservation on the A2.
The accident took place yesterday (September 23) on the London-bound carriageway between the Darenth Interchange and Dartford Heath shortly after 6pm.

The stationary traffic lasted for more than half an hour as lanes two and three were blocked.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) spokesman said: “Two cars collided to which we sent one ambulance crew northbound after they had crashed into the central reservation.
“The two patients had minor injuries but both declined further hospital treatment.”
The road was reopened at around 7pm.
A Kent Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 6:13pm on Wednesday to a report of a collision on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 at Darenth.
“Highways attended the scene to clear debris off the road."
