A crash on the A2 at the Danson Interchange has closed the main carriageway, causing five miles of queues and severe delays for motorists this morning (September 2).
Queues are mounting on the London bound A2 to the M25 junction two after the crash involving seven vehicles.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 8.16am to reports of a road traffic collision and sent two ambulance crews to the scene with a duty officer.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: "One patient was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
"Two others were assessed at the scene but didn't want to go to hospital."
