A yellow weather warning has been issued for south east London and north Kent.
The Met Office has issued the warning for rain today (August 29) and tomorrow (August 30).
The bank holiday weekend is set to be a washout with thundery showers and heavy rain expected.

Lightning is also expected, and people are warned to take care due to the possibility of localised flooding.
It warned outdoor events may be affected, so take care in attending Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.
