Lucky children met the Gruffalo in Erith, whilst their parents enjoyed browsing unique gift stalls.
Erith Riverside Shopping Centre hosted a 'family fun day' to celebrate the summer holidays, and invited a face painter along.

Famous cartoon character The Gruffalo posed for photos with excited little readers, at the event on Saturday, August 8.
Centre manager Barry Owen said: “We’re delighted to be hosting such a variety of entertainment for our shoppers.

"From face painting to unique crafts, there was something that everyone can enjoy at our family friendly event.
"The Gruffalo walkabout act is a wonderful treat for little readers and their parents.”
