Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Bexley.

At around 6.15pm on Tuesday June 2, a 17-year-old boy was approached by a group of males on motorbikes as he was walking along Overton Road.

The males jumped off their bikes and punched the victim in the face a number of times before he fell to the floor and was knocked unconscious.

The suspects on the bikes are a mixture of white and black males aged between 17 and 20.

One white male was wearing a bright red top with long blue sleeves, with "NIKE" across the chest area in red with a white outline.
