A pensioner is appealing to find the mystery ladies who helped her recover after a nasty fall at a Bexleyheath supermarket.

Christine Baker, 66, slipped on her way out of the toilets in Asda and hit her head – and was immediately helped by two guardian angels who picked her up.

The grandmother-of-one said: “I would really like to thank them personally for coming to my aid and helping me.

“It just shows that there are some genuine people out there who do care.

“It would be very nice to say thank you to them and say how much I appreciated it.

“At the time I did not think, because you are overwhelmed. I was a bit dazed.”

One of the ladies stayed with Mrs Baker who “felt a bit dizzy and a bit sick”, and made sure she was okay, after her fall on February 7 at 1pm.

The Mount Road resident described one of the women as a "very smart lady" with short, blonde hair styled in a bob.

The other woman was short and slim, and wearing trousers.

Mrs Baker was wearing a bright pink coat and said: "It was the first time I had worn it."
