"She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a loyal friend, who inspired other people with her kindness and her passion for life and for helping others.

“She was well known and respected throughout the Dartford and Bexley areas for her voluntary and professional work.

“As a young mother she ran playgroups and she later worked as a classroom assistant in a unit for children who were deaf in Slade Green.

"June worked for the NHS in dental health promotion for 30 years before retiring in 2012, at the age of 73, spending a lot of time in local schools.

“For many decades she was a player and member at Crackenford Hockey Club, and more recently, she has been an active member of Dartford Invicta Bowls Club.

“June was full of life and was truly a people person. She made friends wherever she went, touched many people's lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

“We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at David Lloyd, Sidcup, and to the many friends of the family for the love and support that has been shown to us at this very difficult time.”

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident which happened around 3pm.

It is thought that Mrs Morris was standing by a parked car in the car park when a grey Mercedes A Class collided with her and two other parked vehicles.

The driver stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests in relation to the incident.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact them on 0208 285 1574.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, Dartford, at 1pm on Wednesday April 8.
