Police are investigating a Sidcup hit-and-run, after a cyclist was taken to hospital with head injuries.

Cyclist Graham Coulstock, 49, was still suffering from concussion five days after the incident on Wednesday February 18.

Mr Coulstock believes he was targeted after an argument with three male drivers who had cut him up on the road.

He was hit by the car, thought to be a Toyota Yaris, as the men drove away.

Graham’s father Ronald Coulstock said: "The car cut him up and he shouted and them and they followed him.

"So he got off his bike because one of them had got out of the car.

"And then the man got back in the car and just ran him over."

Graham’s wife Helen Coulstock described the drivers, who were in their late teens or early twenties, as "dangerous men".

She said she was worried the "reckless drivers" were still out there and could strike again.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident, and the police took Mr Coulstock’s clothing to do forensic tests.

A statement from the Met police said: "Officers were called to a collision between a car and cyclist in Norfolk Crescent, Sidcup at approximately 13:15hrs.

"The cyclist, a 49-year-old man, was taken to a south London hospital suffering from head and facial injuries. These are not life threatening."

No arrests have been made.
