A Crayford man has been charged with drink-driving after crashing his car in Erith in the early hours of yesterday (February 22).
Adam Phillips, 34, of Shearwood Crescent, will appear in custody today at Bromley Magistrates' Court charged with driving while over the limit and failure to stop after a road accident.
Police were called to Yarnton Way, Erith at 1.37am on Sunday to reports of an abandoned vehicle.
At the scene they found a silver coloured Vauxhall Astra, which had been damaged in a collision. The driver of the car had left the scene.

He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment to a cut hand.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
