Police are appealing for information following two incidents of indecent exposure in the same road in Bexley.

On December 23 at around 6.30pm, a woman in her forties was walking along New Road when she noticed a man was following her.

He passed her and indecently exposed himself before attempting to engage her in conversation.

On January 16 at around 6.55pm, the same thing happened in the same road to a woman in her twenties, before the suspect ran off in the direction of Abbey Wood.

The suspect is described as a white, medium build and in his twenties. 

In the offence on December 23 he was wearing a full grey tracksuit and on January 16 a grey sweat top, jeans, red Levi underpants, bright white Nike Air Force One trainers.

Police Constable Chris Molnar, ward officer for Thamesmead East, said: "I am keen for anyone with information to come forward. We will treat all intelligence received in the strictest confidence and will investigate every lead."

Officers from Bexley are investigating.
