Gravesend lifeboat crews were called to reports of a body at Erith - only to find a dead sheep wrapped in a duvet.
The lifeboat launched at 11.23am today (Jan 19) to a report of a body in the water between Crayford Ness and Erith Rands.
A spokesman for Gravesend RNLI said: "Once on the scene the lifeboat confirmed the reported body was the body of a dead sheep wrapped in a duvet.
"It was arranged for the animal to be recovered by PLA marine services."
