I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! started tonight, as you may have been able to tell from your Twitter timeline.

Tinchy Stryder and Michael Buerk were the first to meet and very fun to watch. Not awkward at all. We predict a definite bromance coming on.

There was this theory.

But it was a bit like this famous Big Brother moment when we were first introduced to the celebs.

These guys were voted to go into the celebrity slammer – basically a prison in the jungle with everything you wouldn’t want to be around.

By the time they got on the helicopter, Gemma gave us a taste of what the next few weeks were going to be like.

In the end she got out of the helicopter and into a car.

“I may have cracked at the first hurdle, but it’s like the turtle and the slug, or the horse and the rabbit. I can’t remember what one it was” – Gemma Collins.

She may have set herself up.

Despite her claims that she could be the next Bear Grylls.

A zip wire happened. People didn’t like it.

It made Nadia pee.

And Kendra tried to get Michael Buerk to twerk.

Thankfully it didn’t happen.

Before long, our first threat of a quit occurred. Predictably it was Gemma, after having to walk to the celebrity slammer.

But we have to admit, she is quite fun to watch. Noticeably a lot of viewers were attacking her looks rather than her fairly loud screams and general behaviour.

And we learnt Rio Ferdinand doesn’t understand what the word literally means.

But this was the truest tweet regarding Gemma.

Everyone was waiting for for Welling painter and decorator-turned pro footballer Jimmy Bullard to be funny.

And re-create this famous celebration.

In the end, we discovered he’s a bit of a wimp.

The celebrities not in the slammer had to skydive and locate a shape on the ground, in order to free a celebrity from the slammer. That meant Kendra had to face her ultimate fear… heights.

After which she claimed to have “done the impossible”.

Everyone was impressed with Melanie’s bravery though… and Jimmy’s lack of it.

Back in the slammer, Gemma made something out of porridge… She called it a porridge pate.

It was “quite simply, stunnin’”.

She then became the first to shower. No surprise it was accompanied by screaming though.

The celebs at croc creek decided that Carl “Foggy” Fogarty was the first celeb they should rescue from the Celeb Slammer… but that also meant he was also the first to face a bush tucker trial – snakes in a drain.

By the end there were 40 snakes in there with him… Foggy was not bothered. He won all the stars.

After the twelve minutes he spent with snaked slithering all over him, he found one in his shorts while talking to Ant and Dec. He found it funny.

And given the choice of taking the food with him to croc creek or giving it to the people left in the celeb slammer… he of course took it with him.

It made Gemma want to leave/think she was going to die.

Jimmy got picked for the bush tucker trial… the tunnel of terror. How do people never learn that by being afraid you only get made to do scarier things?!

I’m A Celebrity returns tomorrow, tune in and you’ll most likely see Jimmy crying and almost definitely hear Gemma screaming.
