If there is someone you want to express your gratitude to, whether they donated a kidney or opened a door for you, we want to hear about it.

Here’s who readers are thanking this week:

Thank you so much to the occupants of two cars that stopped in St Johns Road, Sidcup on Sunday, October 19, to assist me after a bad fall and took me home. I wouldn’t let them call an ambulance, I’m so stubborn. I have a broken elbow and a face as black as soot, not a pretty sight. Thank you again good Samaritans.

G Clark, 81, from Sidcup

We would like to send thanks to the couple who helped our mum and took her and Dad home after she had a fall at the Nugent Centre in Orpington on Wednesday (October 22).

Phill Francis and family

I would like to thank my Grandparents I don’t know what I would do without them. They help me with childcare; they look after my children 4 days a week while I work. They have turned one room in their house into a toy room for my children, making them feel right at home. They have provided them with a bedroom so they can sleep over whenever they ask. My grandparents have helped look after my children since they were both nine months old. I couldn’t thank them enough for all they do for me.

Stacy Coutts, Bromley

Thanks Stephen Phillips for getting me a Glastonbury ticket when I was too drunk and useless to wake up early enough to get one for myself. You knew I would be.

Tim from Thamesmead
