A man has appeared in court charged with stealing more than £12,000 worth of mobile phones from his Sidcup employer.
Safraz Ramjan, 31, is accused of stealing 36 Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phones from the offices of London and Quadrant housing association in Cray House, Maidstone Road.
It is alleged the phones, worth £12,492 or £347 each, were taken between February 5 and February 28 this year.
Mr Ramjan appeared at Inner London Crown Court on October 8 charged with one count of theft by employee.
Before entering a plea Ramjan’s defence team requested an adjournment having not received all necessary documents from the prosecution.
A delay was granted and Mr Ramjan, previously of Poynder Drive in Snodland, was released on bail to next appear at Inner London Crown Court on November 12 for a plea and case management hearing.
Mr Ramjan was found not guilty on April 29 at Inner London Crown Court.
