Bexley Council is looking for generous residents to help look after others in the borough.
The Shared Lives Carers scheme enables people to provide long and short-term accommodation within their own home.
After being carefully vetted, carers are provided with full training and ongoing support.
Shared Lives Carers receive a fee, with the amount paid varying depending on the needs of the person being cared for.
This may include a person with a learning or physical disability, or an older person who wishes to share a family home in the local community.
Applicants must have a bedroom to spare, live in the borough, as well as a commitment and genuine desire to help others.
Call 020 8303 7777.
