The 25-year-old alleged victim of an assault in Slade Green has been arrested on suspicion of affray.

The man from Erith was left with serious head injuries after reportedly being attacked by two men in Bridge Road at around 10pm on September 30.

He spent five days in hospital before being released on October 5.

He was then detained and has been bailed until late October pending further enquiries.

His alleged attackers, two men aged 56 and 25 from Slade Green, were arrested and released on bail until dates in early November and late October respectively.

Bridge Road was closed until the afternoon of October 1 so the scene could be forensically examined.
