Each week I share my five thoughts of the week – the good, the bad and the ugly.

But, I’m not selfish, so I’m also very happy to donate the space to guest writers to have their say, so write to me using the details below.

1. Why do people make such a fuss about mums breastfeeding in public? Nothing is more natural or more beautiful, I really don’t know why anyone is against it. I say it should be encouraged, everywhere at any time – keep getting them out girls until these up-tight moaners stop complaining.

2. The mobile signal in this office is dreadful, but trying to get Vodafone to do something about it seems to be tougher than taking on IS. And yet, even when you don’t seem to have any signal at all they still find a way for you to make emergency calls. If this is the case why don’t they just use the same network for all calls as they use for the emergency ones?

3. Is fruit juice really so good for us? Some bloke on a market persuaded my wife to buy four bottles of something called Açai. Apparently it’s five times as good for you as blueberries, and what’s more you lose weight. This was the point she bought up most of his stock. I’ve no idea how good it is for you, but believe me there’s a side-effect no one would want. Juice machines – I’ll take some convincing there’s any real point to them.

4. Probably best not to point fingers or name names specifically, but News Shopper won’t bow to pressure from any political party or its leader.

5. Finally thanks to the copper taking his police promotion exam. I now know exactly what you have to do to be charged with the crime of “exposure”.
