Mayor of London Boris Johnson will officially open Bexley College’s new Erith Campus and unveil a ceremonial plaque.
The mayor will perform the opening ceremony on October 7 at the new campus in Walnut Tree Road.
The purpose built facility will provide a wide range of vocational courses for school leavers and adults, offering state-of the- art facilities including modern ICT suites, a media studio, a learning resource centre, a fully-equipped gym and a serviceable Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Salon which will be open to the public.
College principal Danny Ridgeway said: "We recognised that moving in to a brand new state of the art campus in Erith was an opportunity to give some of our students a real opportunity to get paid work for some it is the first paid job that they have ever had."
