MOTORISTS travelling into London on the M20 and A20 face delays this morning due to a broken down lorry and a vehicle fire.
Traffic is currently slow on the A20 London-bound between the Swanley Interchange – where the M20 becomes the A20 – and Crittalls Corner due to a broken down lorry that was blocking the inside lane.
The lorry broke down on the side of the road shortly before 7am and the driver was seen to be standing next to his vehicle at the time.
Despite the lorry having been removed at around 8:30am and the lanes cleared, vehicles are currently queuing as far back as the Swanley Interchange
There were earlier delays in the London-bound M20 between Brands Hatch and the Swanley Interchange due to a vehicle fire.
