PARAMEDICS say they were “attempting to resuscitate” a 47-year-old man who suffered a cardiac arrest at Goals Football Centre in Bexleyheath when he arrived at hospital.
Just hours after 16-year-old Philip Lamin suffered a fatal cardiac arrest during a 5-a-side match at the centre in Graham Road on Tuesday afternoon, paramedics received a second call from the same location.
They were called back to the centre at approximately 9pm.
The man was taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital in London, where a cardiologist is on duty 24 hours a day.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When we got to the hospital our efforts to resuscitate him were being carried out.”
