Never judge a book by its cover or a cat by its face – Billy might look a bit grouchy but really he’s the purr-fect feline friend.
The nine-year-old colourpoint Persian was nominated for Pet of the Day by Leah Arnold from Dartford.
Billy likes cheese and sleeping on the sofa.
Despite disliking cuddles, and even with his slightly miserable face, he shouldn’t be seen as Billy gruff.
Leah said: “I raised Billy from three weeks old and was told by the vets he wasn't going to make the night. I took him home and stayed up with him all night. After two weeks of hand-feeding every two hours he made a full recovery and is now mine and my boyfriend’s absolute world.
“If he is on the sofa I will sit on the floor!
“He might have a grumpy little face but to me is the most perfect best friend in the world.”
