Just when we think we’ve seen the cutest possible Pet of the Day something else pops in which raises the bar.

Pickles the African pygmy hedgehog is the latest adorable animal to do that.

The one-year-old prickly little bundle of joy loves cuddles in the evening in front of the television as well as eating mealworms and chicken.

During playtime she loves to play with toy cars and balls.
