Crayford's Cameron Crowhurst leads out Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Wembley.
A LUCKY young Crayford football fan lived the dream when he walked out at Wembley recently.
Cameron Crowhurst, from Maiden Lane, won the chance to be a player escort for the England team when they took on San Marino in a World Cup qualifier.
The 10-year-old Arsenal fan led Gunners winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on to the pitch ahead of the game and proved a real good luck charm.
The Three Lions ran out 5-0 winners on October 12 with Oxlade-Chamberlain bagging a goal to go with doubles from Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.
Cameron, who goes to Mayplace Primary School in Bexleyheath, said: "I couldn’t wait to walk out on to the pitch with my football heroes.
"It was brilliant to be at Wembley with the players."
The youngster won his place after entering a national competition via McDonald’s website Kickstart.
McDonald’s Director of Football and World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst said: "It is a great experience to walk out on the pitch at Wembley Stadium.
"The noise of a full Wembley and the atmosphere is something that Cameron will never forget."
