Video: Appeal to Greenwich clubbers over Northampton Lava and Ignite nightclub crush

Police need to trace these people Police need to trace these people

GREENWICH clubbers are being asked to come forward one year after two women died in a Northampton nightclub crush.

Around 1,500 people from all over the country attended the Wickedest Wickedest night at Lava and Ignite on October 18 last year.

Students Nabila Nanfuka, 22, from Neasden and 19-year-old Laurene-Danielle Jackson from Shepherd’s Bush both died in a stampede to leave the club and catch coaches home.

But, despite 1,000 interviews, police still need to trace key witnesses captured in this CCTV, some of whom may be from Greenwich, to help piece together what happened.

Ms Jackson's parents Angela Ferdinand and Ronato Jackson said in a statement: "There are still a lot of blank pieces that the police need in order to continue their investigation. We do not want Laurene-Danielle’s death to go unanswered."
