Bromley hit-and-run driver leaves cyclist fighting for life

POLICE are looking for a hit-and-run driver who has left a cyclist critically ill in hospital following a crash in Bromley last night (October 15).
The cyclist was hit by a car in Chislehurst Road, around 50 yards from the junction of Pines Road, at about 9.20pm.
London Ambulance Service treated the victim, who is in his 60s, for his injuries before taking him to a central London hospital.
The car driver did not stop at the scene.
A woman who lives nearby but does not wish to be named said she took blankets to the victim after the accident and other residents waited with him until the ambulance arrived.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to call the police on 101.
