A 21-YEAR-OLD man is in a critical condition after being stabbed inside a New Cross Road shop.

Police were alerted to the incident, close to Old Kent Road, by the ambulance service at 9.40pm on October 12.

A spokeswoman said: "It appears there was an altercation inside a shop premises, which resulted in the victim receiving a number of injuries.

"The victim remains in a south London hospital in a critical but stable condition."

Two men and two youths were arrested. Three have been bailed pending further enquiries with no further action being taken against the fourth.
