THE O2 Arena in Greenwich and AEG are being put up for sale by the billionaire owner of LA Galaxy Phil Anschutz in an auction estimated to be worth £6bn.
A 25-page pack is reportedly being issued to potential buyers as owner Mr Anschutz attempts to sell off his entertainment, music and sports company.
Last month, the Anschutz Company revealed it wanted to sell AEG, based in LA, and was hiring Blackstone Advisory Partners to manage the deal.
Since AEG took over The O2 it has been turned around from a white elephant to one of the world's most successful music venues.
It has a profile of over 100 venues around the world, along with a majority stake in the Thames Clippers service.
