A 39-YEAR-OLD man was hit by a train at Ladywell rail station last night (Oct 10) and is in a serious condition at King's College Hospital.
British Transport Police confirmed they were called to the rail station at around 6.33pm.
A spokesman said: "London Ambulance Service medics also attended and the 39-year-old man was taken to King’s College Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition."
Police say the incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
Trains were backed up around the area while emergency services worked at the scene.
The line was eventually handed back to Network Rail at 7.50pm.
