AROUND 100 people took part in a parkland 'Cat Walk' in memory of a 12-year-old Eltham girl who died from a rare condition.
Catriona Melly, aged 12, who had immunodeficiency - meaning she had a poor immune system - passed away in March.
She loved drawing pictures of cats so many of her designs were stuck to trees along the walk in Eltham Park South and North.
Friends and family taking part raised more than £1,700 for the Starlight charity which arranged treats for Catriona when she was seriously ill.
Catriona's mum Carol Melly, 47, of Glenesk Road, Eltham, said: "We are so grateful to all those who took part and generously donated money to Starlight. The day out the charity organised for Catriona was such a special day for her. She was so happy."
