THREE youths were arrested after claims a staff member at Computer Exchange in Lewisham High Street was assaulted last week.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on October 4 when a group attempting to sell a Sat Nav started causing trouble.

One witness claimed that the shop manager was laid flat out on the ground after he asked the youths to leave, before being set upon by the others.

Three 18-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of common assault and two for also handling stolen goods.

However, police say no further action is being taken against the suspects over the assault allegation.

One youth was cautioned and another was bailed pending further enquiries.
