A ST PAUL'S CRAY man has admitted killing a father of three who died after a Diamond Jubilee barbecue.
Appearing at the Old Bailey this morning Liam Smith, formerly of Thorndon Close, St Paul’s Cray, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
His victim James Harris-Durkin was found suffering with a head injury in Court Road, Orpington, at around 3am on June 5.
He died at Kings College Hospital later that same day.
Smith, aged 26, pleaded not guilty to a second charge of perverting the course of justice and is due to stand trial on November 26.
Leanne Turner, aged 25, also formerly of Thorndon Close, also pleaded not guilty to perverting the course of justice at the court.
She is due to stand trial on the same date.
